The Reach is excited to be co-presenting the 2026 Abbotsford Film Festival on Friday 27 March and Saturday 28 March 2026.
On Friday night, experience the iconic screenings from the 48 Hour Film Competition, where filmmakers raced against the clock to create original short films in only 48 hours. From hilarious to heartfelt, these fast-paced films showcase raw talent, inventive storytelling, + impressive filmmaking under pressure.
Saturday features industry events including a panel and two workshops.
Friday, 27 March events:
6 pm: Doors open / 6:30 pm: 48 Hour Films (Screening #1) / 7:30 pm: Intermission / 8 pm: 48 Hour Films (Screening #2) / 9 pm: Q&A, mingling, awards ceremony
