Friends of The Reach

When you become a Friend of The Reach, you help support the wide range of exhibitions, programs, and events that we offer year-round.

In 2025, support from the Friends of The Reach helped us:

• Lower barriers to access for visitors through our pay-what-you-can admission program
• Present 8 exhibitions that featured the work of 77 artists
• Produce 2 major capacity-building initiatives, “Fraser Valley Secondary Art Contest” and “Personal Identity Projects,” that presented the work of 457 student artists from local high schools
• Support 4 emerging artists and 3 emerging curators to collaborate in the production of Art on Demand exhibitions
• Create and deliver 213 educational and public programs that engaged 7509 participants from this community

Patron of the Arts

Show extra support by becoming a Patron of the Arts. For the same price as a Friends of The Reach Membership and a minimum $10/month donation, you will enjoy all the same benefits as our Friends, as well as:

Docent Opportunities

The Reach is a vibrant creative environment for volunteers. We are fortunate to have a big group of wonderful volunteers and have paused volunteer recruitment for now.

We are still looking for docents, in particular docents who are open to and excited about giving exhibition tours to school groups.

If you are interested in becoming a docent, our program offers training and mentorship opportunities to learn and grow as a museum educator.

As an exhibitions guide, you will activate our exhibitions through tours, engaging guests in interesting discussions about art, history and culture.
