This casual, public event is your chance to get to know some of the most exciting artists currently working in the region, enjoy light refreshments and a cash bar, and connect to the thriving Fraser Valley arts scene. Admission is pay-what-you-can by donation.
Join us in a celebration of the opening of Art on Demand 9.2: Krystal Charlston, curated by Rachel Kehler. Art on Demand is an exhibition series that pairs emerging artists and curators to develop stand-alone exhibitions at The Reach.
The Emerge program is designed to provide mentored, portfolio-building opportunities to aspiring artists and arts professionals aged 18 to 35 with ties to the Fraser Valley. The program is generously supported by the RBC Foundation Emerging Artists program.
This event also brings together many of the artists featured in the 2023 Fraser Valley Biennial in a casual “meet & greet” environment. Don’t miss this unique opportunity to connect with some of the most exciting artists working in the Fraser Valley today.
The Fraser Valley Biennial is an important vehicle to showcase local talent, bringing together some of the most outstanding works of art created in the region over the past two years. Since its start in 2011, the Biennial has showcased the work of more than 250 local and regional artists. The Fraser Valley Biennial is generously supported by RDM Lawyers.
