EXHIBITION

Dr. Michelle Superle is an English professor at UFV and research associate with the university’s Food and Agriculture Institute, Flood Stories launched in January 2022 as an outlet for those affected by the 2021 flooding events to share their experiences in creative format. The project also aims to highlight and raise public awareness around the importance of local farmers, the multitude of challenges they experience, and the supports that would help them thrive.

This exhibit honours farmers and celebrates our astounding human capacity for resilience and collaboration. We invite gallery visitors to become participants by creating artistic celebrations of gratitude for local farmers’ nourishment of our bodies and souls.
